Addiction and Recovery Treatment is not a straight line — it's a journey of healing, growth, and rediscovery. At True North Clinic, we know how overwhelming it can be to take that first step toward treatment. You might wonder what lies ahead, whether you'll be judged, or if it will really work. We're here to assure you: recovery is possible, and you won't be walking the path alone.
Starting Where You Are: The Assessment
Every recovery journey begins with understanding — and that means a comprehensive assessment. Our team takes time to understand your unique experiences, challenges, and goals. Addiction rarely exists in a vacuum; it often intersects with mental health conditions, trauma, or environmental stressors. That’s why we assess not just your substance use, but your whole person — emotionally, psychologically, and physically.
The goal? To build a personalized care plan that truly fits you.
Building a Support System: Case Management
Once your treatment plan is in place, case management steps in to guide you through the logistics of recovery. Think of your case manager as your personal advocate — someone who helps coordinate your care, connects you with resources, and ensures you’re never left navigating this process alone.
Healing in Community: Group Therapy
Therapy is the heart of recovery. At True North, we offer group therapy, because we believe healing happens through connection — with others and with yourself.
Group therapy fosters community and shared experience, showing you that you're not alone — and that others are walking the same road, one step at a time.
Finding the Right Level of Care: IOP, PHP & Residential Treatment
Not everyone’s recovery journey looks the same. That’s why we offer different levels of support:
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP): Ideal for those who need structure but want to maintain some independence in their daily lives.
Partial Hospitalization Program (PHP): A step up in intensity, PHP provides more clinical support while still allowing you to return home each day.
Residential Treatment (ASAM Level 3.1): For those needing a safe, stable environment to begin their recovery with 24/7 support.
Each level is designed to meet you where you are — and to move with you as you grow stronger.
Support Through Medication: MAT & Detox
Some individuals benefit from Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) or outpatient detoxification, especially in early recovery. These services are offered as part of a comprehensive care plan — always in combination with counseling and therapy — to help reduce cravings, ease withdrawal symptoms, and stabilize mental health.
We provide these services with dignity and care, never judgment.
Addiction and Recovery Treatment Doesn’t End —
It Evolves
Addiction is a chronic condition, and like any long-term health issue, it requires ongoing attention. That’s why we offer continued care and long-term support options. As you move forward, we stay with you — helping you avoid relapse, build coping skills, and create a life you feel proud of.
You Are Not Alone
Recovery takes courage, but you don’t have to do it by yourself. At True North Clinic, we’re committed to helping you find your direction — no matter how lost you may feel right now.
Your journey may not look like anyone else’s. And that’s okay. What matters is that you start.
